Sarbani Bhattacharya an artist, trained in Bachelor of Visual Arts from Rabindrabharati University Kolkata with a scholarship in History of Art. She expresses her intense feelings towards the relationship of Nature and Human in her paintings, encompassing the spiritual function of the mysticism of life. Her quest, mostly culminates in combining two substantial themes, ‘Tree of Life’ and ‘Mother and Child’ in this cosmic cycle.

Painting in a semi abstract style she set a distinct iconography of a meditative face, in her paintings, which is unique, as well as universal, this made her series popular among art collectors.
Since 2003 in Singapore, working in various mediums, she is exhibiting and contributing to the art scene. Sarbani’s paintings are well received in her solo exhibitions in Singapore and numerous international exhibitions abroad.
