Lye Swee Koon was born in Singapore on 6th Decemeber 1948. He has started painting since 1965. Apart from having two solo art exhibitions in Singapore, he has also participated in many group shows, both locally and internationally in places such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, China, hong Kong, Macau, Japan and England. His paintings are in many private, corporate and institutional collections such as Citibank, CAAS, IBM, MCI, NACC, Natsteel, NTU Museum, Rutledge, etc
